City Council Presentation on the Library

The City has docketed a presentation by the County Library Staff at the La Mesa City Council meeting on Tuesday, May 22 nd . It will be at the beginning of their agenda which will allow our library staff time to fully inform the Council of the level of activity at our library and to answer any questions they may have. Mark your calendar to either attend the meeting to show support for the library or watch the presentation on Cox Cable.

Anniversary & Summer Reading

Saturday, June 9 th , will be a busy day at the library. In the morning, there will be a special event to mark the 10 th anniversary of the La Mesa Library operating in the current building and to kick off the Summer Reading Program. At 1:00 p.m., there will be the last Second Saturday concert before the summer recess. The concerts will recommence in September.

Board Elections

This summer there will be an election for board members of the Friends of the La Mesa Library, Inc. Terms of office are for two years.
